What is the age of the student/s?
Most students attending work experience are 16-18 years old and are in year 11 or 12.
How does the student get to my workplace?
It is the student/ parent responsibility to arrange to get to the placement.
Are students attending my workplace vaccinated for COVID-19 and the Flu?
Most students are vaccinated for COVID-19 and the Flu, however this can be discussed with your CareerLink representative.
Do CareerLink students hold a White Card when applicable?
Students who require a White Card to participate in your workplace will have one in place. Please confirm with the CareerLink representative if students do need to have a White card.

What is my responsibility during the work experience?
First and foremost, your responsibility is to provide a safe workplace that allows students to grow and developed employability skills. The roles and responsibilities are well explained in the CareerLink Host Employer Manual.
